Performance Plan

Ideal for triathletes, cyclists and runners who want to dial in their fueling and hydration plan to race healthy and set new records!

Our signature Performance Program includes a VO2 test, lactate test, sweat test, plus follow up nutrition sessions and accountability. You’ll get started with the testing so your practitioner has all the data they need to develop a personalized fueling and hydration plan.

Youth Sports Nutrition

If you’re trying to feed a young athlete with healthy food so they can perform their best, we’ve got your solution!

Nutrition Testing/Labs

After completing your initial consultation, we’re excited to be able to offer multiple nutrition related laboratory testing options in order to create the most personalized nutrition plan for you.

Learn more about some of our commonly ordered tests, including our genetic test, micronutrient testing, and gut testing. We can also order food sensitivity testing, hormone testing, allergy testing and more. There is typically a separate fee and potentially a lab draw involved.

BCBS Insurance Coverage for Nutrition Counseling

If you’d prefer to use your Blue Cross Blue Shield for nutrition counseling AND you’re located in North Carolina, we kindly ask that you set up a separate service. To do so, please go here.

If you want to be active and fit and you’re ready to make your health and fitness a priority, you’re more likely to succeed in our programs. If you’re resilient, honest, motivated, curious, flexible, dedicated, hard working, inquisitive, and have a good sense of humor, then we’ll make a good team. If you’re not ready to put in the work, then it’s not the right time.

All of our nutrition programs follow our signature 4 steps to maximum health & fitness:

  • “Assess for Success:” With our detailed nutrition & lifestyle questionnaire, body composition 7-site skinfold analysis, and food log review, we dig deeply into your habits to truly assess where you are and what needs to change.
  • “Get SMART:” By setting SMART goals, we’ll work together to create your personal winning solution, putting all the pieces together to maximize your success.
  • “Plant the Seeds:” Get empowered with your personalized nutrition & fitness education based on your assessment and goals. This could include everything from meal timing, macronutrient needs, workout design, menu planning, dining out, and food shopping, including the option for a grocery store tour.
  • “Make a Game Plan:” We’ll work together to develop your custom meal & fitness plan, including food, exercise and supplement recommendations.

Our programs are intended to benefit your health and fitness, but please understand that results vary based upon various factors, including body type, genetics, prior fitness level, sleep, stress, travel, and level of commitment.  Most importantly, you agree to:

  • Commit to yourself and take responsibility for your results;
  • Commit to the coaching process, make time for communication with your coach, and take the proposed action after each session.
  • Use your coach as a resource and partner and integrate and synthesize your coach’s advice with your own thinking;
  • Tell the truth:  be honest with your coach and yourself, even if it is uncomfortable;
  • Be ready to stretch in ways that may, at first, feel uncomfortable; and
  • Do the work!

Payment plans are available for most programs to help you reach your goals. Please discuss your options, goals, and expectations clearly with your coach, as sessions are non refundable (although they may be used towards other services). We want to help you as best as we can and try to ensure a good fit.

You are responsible for scheduling your appointments online or by calling our office at (919) 230-7897. We gladly accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. There is a $25 fee for returned checks.

For session cancellations, please contact us at least 24 hours beforehand to avoid a $25 late fee.

YES, BUT we currently in-network for BCBS only on a trial basis and only for nutrition services (not for genetic testing, metabolic testing or any nutrition packages). If you would like to submit a superbill for reimbursement from your insurance company, we can provide one for a $15 administrative fee. There are no guarantees that your insurance company will reimburse your fees. Please go HERE for more information on insurance coverage.

Yes! We love keeping couples and families healthy together! Our programs are heavily discounted to accommodate couples and families.

Yes, we accept FSA and HSA accounts (just like a credit or debit card). However, YOU are responsible for ensuring those services are accepted under your plan. Generally speaking, nutrition services are covered, but the remaining services are not.

“I took 23 minutes off of Ironman Raleigh following the [hydration & fueling] plan in what I’ll call “hellish heat” on the run. Didn’t bonk or have any issues other than some overheating on the run but didn’t have a blowup like previous 2 years.  Seeing training runs and workouts go much smoother with this plan.
