Ready to Get Started? Follow These Steps:

  1. Book a free BCBS 15 minute consult here to meet your Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and discuss your challenges, needs and goals. You MUST HAVE Blue Cross Blue Shield (no CMM plans). You can book a consult 1 week from the current date in order to allow time to complete step #2.
  2. Once your consult is booked, you’ll automatically be sent BCBS approval forms with very specific instructions on how to verify your nutrition insurance. Set aside at least 15-20 minutes to complete this (time may vary). You MUST COMPLETE these forms prior to your free nutrition consult.
  3. During your free consult, we’ll review your insurance forms and discuss what you may be struggling with and how we can best help you. Then we’ll arrange your initial nutrition consult so we can create your personalized plan for your health. To create meaningful changes, we ask that you commit to the process and to yourself by booking several sessions over the course of 3-6 months based on your goals.

What makes our nutrition counseling successful?

YOU do. If you’re committed to make a change in your health and fitness, you’re more likely to succeed! Healthy eating and behavior change doesn’t happen overnight. We expect that you work hard, communicate clearly, ask questions and commit to yourself. If you’re not ready to put in the work, then it’s not the right time.

Our expectations of you:

Our sessions are intended to benefit your health and fitness, but please understand that results vary based upon various factors, including body type, genetics, prior fitness level, sleep, stress, travel, and level of commitment.  Most importantly, you agree to:

  • Commit to yourself and take responsibility for your results;
  • Tell the truth: be honest with your dietitian and yourself, even if it is uncomfortable;
  • Show up on time, be prepared and take the proposed action after each session.

Our policies:

You are responsible for scheduling your sessions online via our portal or by calling (919)-230-7897. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time will be assessed a $35 charge. We require a credit card on file for co-pay billing.

We may call your insurance company to assist you in verifying coverage as a courtesy, but we cannot guarantee payment from them. Any charges denied by your insurance provider will be billed directly to the credit card stored on file. If you have questions or concerns, contact your insurance provider directly.

What insurance companies are you in-network with? 

We are in-network for Blue Cross Blue Shield (no CMM plans).

Will my insurance policy cover nutritional counseling?

There are many different plans, and we cannot guarantee that your policy will cover nutrition counseling. It is your responsibility to call the member services number on the back of your card to verify your coverage before you schedule your appointment. If we submit a claim for nutrition counseling and your claim is denied, you will be required to pay the full rate.

Will I have a co-pay for a nutrition counseling appointment?

You might. Please ask your member service representative. If you do, we’ll collect your co-pay at the time of service.

Will I need a referral from my doctor for nutrition counseling?

That depends on the plan. Because there are many different plans, it is your responsibility to call the member services number on the back of your card to verify your coverage for nutrition counseling and find out whether you will need a referral from your doctor before you schedule your appointment.

Can I use my HSA or FSA account to pay for products and services at The Endurance Edge?

Generally speaking, HSA and FSA accounts are allowed for nutrition services, but NOT for supplements, metabolic testing, and sweat testing. We cannot guarantee our products and services are allowable under your HSA or FSA account. Contact your HSA or FSA account manager for more information.
