Learn to Swim for Triathlon 2026

Learn to Swim for Triathlon: Small-Group Series Now Open

Cary, NC

If you’ve ever thought, “I want to do a triathlon, but the swim scares me,” you’re not alone — and you’re exactly who this program was designed for.

The Endurance Edge is excited to announce our Learn to Swim for Triathlon series, a small-group, coach-led program designed to help beginner swimmers build confidence, endurance, and proper freestyle technique in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Learn to Swim for Your First Triathlon

This program is specifically built for adults preparing for their first triathlon or anyone who wants to feel confident swimming freestyle in a triathlon setting.

By the end of the series, participants will work toward swimming 250 yards continuously without stopping — a major milestone for new triathletes.

February 2026 Program Details

  • Dates: Session 2: February 1, 8, and 15 1pm
  • Session Length: 90 minutes per session
  • Group Size: Limited to just 8 participants
  • Coaching: 2 dedicated triathlon swim coaches

With a 4:1 athlete-to-coach ratio, you’ll receive individualized feedback, real-time corrections, and constant support — something you simply don’t get in large group swim classes.

What You’ll Learn

  • Freestyle fundamentals for triathlon swimming
  • Breathing techniques to reduce panic and fatigue
  • Efficient body position and balance in the water
  • How to swim continuously without stopping (goal of 250yd!)
  • Confidence-building strategies for race-day swims

No pressure. No comparison. Just steady progress and encouragement.

Who This Program Is For

  • First-time triathletes
  • Adults who never learned proper freestyle technique
  • Runners or cyclists intimidated by the swim leg
  • Athletes who want a strong, confident swim foundation

You do not need to be fast — you just need to be willing to learn.

Spots Are Extremely Limited

To ensure high-quality coaching and a supportive environment, this series is capped at 8 athletes total.

If learning to swim confidently is the missing piece holding you back from your first triathlon, this is your moment.
