5 Tips for the Off Season

Host, Head Coach and Performance Dietitian Chris Newport shares her 5 tips for the off season, including things you should think about, things you should try and ways to help you become a better athlete once the season starts again.

Here’s the 5 things every triathlete, runner or cyclist should be thinking about in the off season:

  1. Analyze the past season and give yourself a well deserved high five!
  2. It’s time to get your nutrition in order.
  3. Work on your skills with drills!
  4. Do your strength training, mobility and stability that you’ve been neglecting all season.
  5. Do something different!
