How to Stay on Track During the Holidays

This week Michael sits down with all the Registered Dietitians at The Endurance Edge, including Sarah Heckler & Chris Newport, for a quick chat about actionable strategies you can use to stay on track with your nutrition goals (no matter what they are) during the holidays. If you want to make sure you keep making progress towards your nutrition and fitness goals this holiday season, this is the episode for you.

Some of those tips are:

  1. Don’t skip meals or snacks before big planned meals
  2. At meals, fill up on protein, fat, & fiber
  3. Get out of the kitchen & make sure you get some movement or a workout in
  4. Find non-food ways to spend time with people
  5. Identify and buddy up with the “Nutritional Gatekeeper”
  6. Be mindful of your environmental cues (eg. size of plate)
  7. Stay on top of your hydration
